"Personality"

The "Personality" scale consists of items such as "Patient," "Outgoing," "Attention seeking," and "Supportive." It consists of components of personality that are most relevant to interpersonal relationships, and especially to close interpersonal relationships.

In our research, it has been a strong predictor of long term relationship happiness and contentment for both women and men, but is slightly more predictive of male happiness and contentment.

Because of its strong historical contributions to relationship compatibility, the "Personality" scale consists of 50 of the 180 items in the "Compatible Lifestyle Questionnaire-R©".
